Sure, we're famous for our stalactites and stalagmites, and we've been reported to have a few Alien encounters now and then, but did you know that New Mexico is home to real ice caves and the longest aerial tram in the world? We even have a miraculous staircase built by a mysterious carpenter. Kit Carson lived here along with much of the early Spanish Colonial North American civilization. We have ancient Pueblos, hot air balloons and some fantastic wineries. If you're lucky, you can even see Shakespeare in Santa Fe, July through August (in Sept., he travels back to Europe to continue his writing).
